The original PC version of ALOGIT was developed from a mainframe program in 1986 by Hague Consulting Group to support its own work. HCG decided to offer the program to other users, while continuing to develop it. Since 2007 ALOGIT has been owned, supported and marketed by ALOGIT Software & Analysis Ltd.. However, development, support and marketing is still provided by Andrew Daly, the original author of the program.
For the future, it is hoped that continued support of the program can be provided by a new owner. ALOGIT Software & Analysis Ltd. would be glad to hear proposals. In this context, it may be useful to note that 98-99% of the program is now in standard FORTRAN to facilitate maintenance - 4 non-standard routines are contained in a single source unit.
